1. Explain the causes of white collar crimes and suggest remedial measures.
2. Explain ‘Organised crime and examine its causative factors in India and suggest Concrete measures to end it.
3. Explain the meaning of parole. What are the advantages and disadvantages of parole?
4. Elucidate the merits and demerits in imposition of’ capital punishment.
5. Discuss the significance of open–prison system in criminal administration.
6. ‘Lombraso is regarded as the father of criminology since he was the first to employ scientific methods in explaining criminal behaviour. He shifted the emphasis from crime to criminal. Explain this approach pointing out the criticisms.
7. Discuss in brief the multiple factor approach on crime causation.
8. Critically evaluate the reforms in prison system in India.
9. Explain the powers and duties of police with regard to arrest search and seizure.
10. Write short notes on any TWO of the following :
(a) Corruption in police
(b) Classification of offenders
(c) Public execution
(d) The Chronic offender.
